Staff Bios
 Ric grew up in Warren, Minnesota and graduated from Moorhead State University in 1977 with a degree in Economics. He worked for 5 years with Campus Crusade for Christ in Springfield, Mass. In 1985 he graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and began his ministry at Chisago Lakes Evangelical Free Church (now known as Lakes Free Church). He and his wife Gail have three sons: Matthew (wife Deborah and grandsons Luke & Will), Jason and Benjamin. ricstanghelle@lakesfree.org
 Jason was raised in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and graduated from Bethel University with a double major in Biblical & Theological Studies and Philosophy. He graduated from Bethel Seminary in 2002 with a Masters in Christian Thought.
Jason was Associate Pastor of Evangelism and Young Adult Ministries at his previous church. He is a fourth generation pastor and has worked with his father's ministry, Christian Ministries International. Jason began his ministry at Lakes Free in June of 2009.  Justin grew up in Clayton, Wisconsin and graduated from Northwestern College in Roseville, MN, with a degree in Christian Education. Justin worked in our Student Ministry for four years before moving to Massachusetts where he served as Associate Pastor of Student Ministries at a church there. He returned to Lakes Free in September 2008 as our Pastor of Student Ministries. Justin and his wife Crystal have three daughters, Isabelle, Emily & Katelyn. justinotto@lakesfree.org
 Jim graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology. He has served as a Church Planter, Senior Pastor, and nine years with the EFCA National Office as the Director of Church Health. He and his wife Holly have a son, Chris (wife Kate and grandsons Jack & Luke) and daughter, Jamie. Jim joined us half-time in April 2009 to assist with pastoral duties, care giving, counseling, mentoring, and teaching. jimfann@lakesfree.org
Bev Phillips grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, although she and her husband Olin have lived in Minnesota for 30 years. She earned a B.S. from Virginia Tech with a major in Family and Child Development and minor in Psychology and a M.A. from Liberty University in Human Services, Specialization in Marriage/Family.
Bev is the mother of five sons and four daughters and grandmother of five. She has worked as the Lakes Free Director of Care Ministries since 2005.
