Retreat46 is a weekend retreat at Camp Shamineau designed specifically for children to come as a group with others from their church, not as individuals.  We as a church supply our own leaders/counselors, and Shamineau supplies all the programming. Our students are housed together (boys and girls separately), and we have our own times of discussion after the chapel services. The weekend includes many of Shamineau’s typical camp activities, all geared to those in grades 4-5.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is held for 5 days every summer from 9:00am-12:00pm for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. It is an exciting, high energy week which emphasizes introducing children to the Gospel message. Each year we support a special missions project.

Summer Camp at Camp Shamineau

We’d love for you to consider summer options at Camp Shamineau in Motley, MN.  Lakes Free Church recognizes the impact Camp Shamineau has on the lives of children, youth and adults and we want you and your family to really consider participating in a classic or adventure camp and/or family camp weekend this summer.  Camp Shamineau desires to “clear a way to the cross” by sharing Christ’s love in a camp setting.
