WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive at Lakes Free, you’ll be welcomed by our one of our greeters. One of our friendly Welcome volunteers will be happy to help you find our children’s and/or youth classrooms. Worship services are located in the Worship Center just beyond the lobby of the main entrance.
Children’s Sunday programming is not meeting until further notice.
Stop by one of our check in stations to get your child securely checked in for the morning. Our Sunday morning children’s programs are the perfect place for children from birth to grade 5, and programming is offered during each of our services. We welcome your nursery and preschool aged children to attend both hours. Elementary aged children are welcome to attend either hour, but we ask that parents consistently send their child to a particular hour.
Student’s Sunday programming is not meeting until further notice.
Lakes Free offers Sunday morning programming for both Middle School (6th-8th grade) and High School (9th-12th grade) students. Classes are offered during both services. Middle School meets in Room 232 (9:00am). High School meets in Room 236 (9:00am). All students meet together in Room 236 (10:30am).
As you enter our Worship Center, one of our ushers will help you find a seat. We encourage you to sit wherever you’re comfortable leaving 3 open seats between families. If you need further assistance, an usher would be more than happy to help you!
Worshipping the Lord through music is one of our greatest joys on Sunday mornings at Lakes Free. Both of our worship services feature contemporary praise and worship music, similar to what you’ll hear on local Christian radio stations like KTIS. We also regularly enjoy many of the classic hymns of the Christian faith.
Lakes Free celebrates Communion the first Sunday of each month. We invite all those who have placed their faith in Christ for salvation to participate. The bread and juice represent Jesus’ broken body and shed blood sacrificed that our sins might be forgiven.
All of the preaching at Lake Free is rooted firmly in God’s word, the Bible. The majority of our teaching will be through entire books of the Bible. We believe God’s word is timeless, authoritative, and powerful; and we seek to present it’s truths in a relevant and compelling way in our sermons.
