Hope Ministries is excited to announce a support group for adoptive and foster care families, or families who are contemplating adoption or foster care. This support group aims to give foster care and adoptive families the necessary support, resources, and tools to set you up for success in this difficult venture. We will meet the first Sunday of each month from 6-8pm in room 219. We will have a time for connecting with other adoptive and foster care families, as well as group discussion.
Currently, we are walking through a book entitled, “How to Grow a Connected Family” by James and Lynn Jackson. This book offers tips on how to be more peaceful and wise in your parenting, how to train your children to be more respectful and responsible, and how to deepen your children’s sense of purpose, character and faith all from a biblical perspective. The cost of the book is $15 and is due at your first meeting. Only one book per family is necessary.
Child care will be provided by middle school or high school youth. Your child care donation will help fund youth mission trips or events. Please RSVP regarding child care and include ages and number of children.
